Celebrate T21 is a social enterprise based in Wollongong, but supporting a community nationally. We’re on a mission to provide support to every family at the point of receiving a Down syndrome (Trisomy 21) diagnosis, and to rewrite the narrative around the stigmas surrounding life with Down syndrome.
We launched our 3rd photo book in 2021, which is a celebration of more than 180 Australians with Down syndrome and their families. These books have been distributed to medical professionals and schools, and also via Down syndrome Australia, 21 Gifts, and through our own organisation.
From pregnancy through to adulthood, this stunning book celebrates every life stage, and also includes features on the Celebrate T21 Inspirationals - people with Down syndrome who are achieving inspiring things in various fields - from art, to sport, to cake decorating and professional modelling. It aims to inspire and reassure people at the point of diagnosis - showing them them the many colours of life with Down syndrome, and the strong community they’ll be welcomed by.
Our network of families has fundraised to make the printing of this very special book possible, but we need your help in getting it sent out to the people who need it most.
The fourth edition of our gorgeous photo book is underway and will launch September 2023.
We’ve distributed more than 4,000 gorgeous photo books to date, plus over 350 gift packs.
