Led by experts in education and allied health professionals with specialised knowledge in teaching children with Down syndrome, this workshop offers comprehensive insights and practical strategies across key areas:

1.Down syndrome: Providing comprehensive insights into understanding and catering to the specific needs of students with Down syndrome. 

2.Inclusive Education: Offering guidance and strategies to create an inclusive classroom
environment where every student feels valued and supported.

3.Differentiating Curriculum – Strategies for Empowering Every Student
Assisting in tailoring educational materials and methods to meet the diverse learning needs of all students within a single classroom.

4.Incorporating Key Word Sign in the learning environment: Offering practical methods and resources to integrate Key Word Sign language into teaching practices for effective communication and inclusion.

5.Behaviour as a Form of Communication: Providing insights into interpreting and addressing behaviours as a means of communication, especially in students who may face challenges expressing themselves conventionally.

6.Whole Brain Learning and Benefits: Exploring and implementing teaching methodologies that engage different parts of the brain, optimising learning experiences and cognitive development.

Plus a 3-hour dedicated Key Word Sign workshop, along with focused time to explore resources and practical implementation strategies.
